Framing Landscape ——Unrolling spatial sceneries across the journey.
Walking inside a Chinese architecture is like unrolling a painting; each scenery is different across the journey. Being bounded by river, wetland, and mountains, the site encourages opening your experience to the surroundings. To preserve and respond to the beauty of the site, nature and landscape are brought into and integrate with the building:
the exterior scenes are framed by windows, patios, corridors and terraces, to create various spatial experiences of nature while wandering inside; a series of landscape
courtyards are introduced to offer buffer spaces between each functional area. The building not only has integrated with nature, but also acts as a medium to connect people with nature. The diverse indoor and outdoor public spaces have been proven to encourage people to interact, to communicate, and to socialise with the natural environment.
